Shoulder Pain or Inury

Several areas are critical to consider when treating shoulder pain and injury:  the clavicle (collar bone), scapula (shoulder blade), cervical and thoracic spine, rib cage, and the shoulder joint itself.  All of these  bones and joints have to work together correctly, because the shoulder joint has the least stability and the most mobility of any joint in the body.  We address each of these areas at Hands On Physical Therapy.  Common problems of the shoulder include: rotator cuff strains and tears, bursitis, impingement syndrome, tendonitis and AC (acromioclavicular) joint sprain.

What They Say

I came to Hands on Physical Therapy to help my back and shoulder pain from scoliosis which was identified by the doctor at my high school sports physical. The therapists got me back on the volleyball court with treatments and exercises. I moved from physical therapy to stronger conditioning without medication or invasive procedures. Now I’m playing my game without discomfort and looking forward to a healthy future.
